Patient Safety and Infection Control Information
Dr. Gorsky is committed to providing a safe environment for your oral health care in our Manhattan dentist office. We have always adhered to all recommended and required infection control guidelines issues by the ADA, OSHA and the CDC to protect the health and safety of our patients and staff. In response to the recent COVID-19 pandemic, we have added additional measures designed to minimize the spread of infection and provide a safe patient experience when you visit with us.
We ask that if you are sick or have been exposed to the coronavirus that you call our office to reschedule your appointment. If you have recently traveled please wait at least 14 days after returning to visit our office. These rules will remain in place until it is no longer a recommendation of the CDC or any local governing bodies and are designed to protect all patients and staff.
We have made changes to our office and how we conduct our appointments to minimize contact and keep everyone safe. Dr. Gorsky will be scheduling patients on a staggered basis to reduce the number of people in the office at one time. When you arrive we will be checking your temperature with a digital thermometer. Hand sanitizer is to be used when entering the office.
A mask is to be worn when moving through the office. We will also have a brief screening to be completed at check-in that will determine any risk based on your recent activity and health history.
You will notice some changes when you visit as we have prepared our office for your safe return.
- We will be wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
- We have added HEPA filtration for improved air quality
- There will be appropriate screens and barriers to avoid contact and the spread of germs.
